About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive revenue growth and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
- Cultivate new client relationships and expand market presence
- Strengthen existing client partnerships through value-added services and strategic account management
- Develop value propositions and negotiate sales contracts and agreements
- Analyze competitors, market trends, and potential new service offerings
- Partner with Estimating to develop differentiated bidding strategies
- Cross-sell and upsell Structures' complete service portfolio
- Participate in proposal development, client presentations, and strategic planning
- Oversee project phases from planning and estimating through execution and closeout
- Manage project budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change orders
- Develop project schedules and manage resource allocation
- Serve as primary client liaison during project execution
- Enforce safety, quality, and technical standards through site inspections and quality assurance checks
- Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders
- Reconcile contract discrepancies and resolve billing issues with Accounting
- Lead project close-out activities and ensure client satisfaction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience OR minimum 3 years of construction industry experience
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex projects
- Proficiency with project management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfort with mobile technology for field-based communication and documentation
- Ability to use construction-specific software applications as needed
- Up to 40% of national travel is required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Flexibility to accommodate client schedules and project demands
- Regular site visits requiring walking on various construction sites
- Willingness to meet clients at job sites in adverse weather conditions as needed
- Occasional lifting and carrying of construction documents, samples, and light equipment
