About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate retail sales using cutting-edge technology knowledge and exceptional customer service
- Learn and uncover customer needs by creating connections and asking questions
- Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide complete sales solutions
- Close sales using communication skills and intuitive technology solutions
- Develop through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operations
- Place outbound calls and send text messages to current Verizon customers interested in products and services
- Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events to expand the customer base
- Work onsite at defined Verizon retail location(s)
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Openness to pick up additional shifts
- Experience working in a commission-based environment (preferred)
- Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions (preferred)
- Customer service experience (preferred)
- May be required to complete an approximately 19-minute assessment
