About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor flight activity
- Manage inventory processes for company lead equipment, including equipment bags, radios, scanners, bypass pins, headsets, and wands
- Maintain documentation records for aircraft, flights serviced, and services performed
- Read and interpret instructions to complete forms, paperwork, and correspondence
- Monitor computers, telephone calls, and surveillance cameras
- Post and update station bulletins and campaigns
- Observe staff, security contractors, and visitors for security breaches, suspicious occurrences, and non-compliance
- Communicate with employees, customers, dispatch, and remote OCC staff
- Review lead shift briefings and required operational forms
- Use electronic scanning devices and automated self-service technology
- Perform manual overrides and escalate facility equipment technical issues
- Support Airport Operations and Remote OCC staff with operational functions
- Enforce company standard operating procedures and policies
- Participate in related special projects and tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Above-average interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule supporting a 24/7 operation
- Ability to work alone and use independent judgment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
- Regular and timely attendance
- Ability to learn and apply PC skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to communicate issues with different levels of management internally and externally
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off
- Ability to work in stressful conditions and under pressure
