About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with new and existing technicians to develop skills and ensure proper repairs are being performed
  • Develop training profiles and oversee execution of development plans for Field Maintenance Technicians
  • Provide advanced technical assistance to Field Maintenance Technicians and the Technical Support Center as needed
  • Coordinate training of new Field Maintenance Technicians in all aspects of the business
  • Ensure proper training of maintenance-related tasks, including building equipment and systems maintenance
  • Align regionally with Regional Facilities Manager and Area Facilities Managers
  • Work with other Regional Maintenance Trainers to support regional training needs
  • Evaluate employees using performance metrics and skill assessments
  • Determine when additional training is necessary and conduct training
  • Develop, implement, and deliver training programs for individual development needs
  • Develop skill and competency profiles and formulate individual development plans
  • Provide management feedback on individual and group progress
  • Plan and coordinate Field Training Technician activities to ensure adherence to the training program
  • Create and develop basic training materials
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in at least one trade

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School/GED Preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to research and resolve issues
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to facilitate and direct the activities of others
  • Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations
  • Ability to build and sustain collaborations
  • Subject Matter Expert in at least one trade
