Prepare and deliver engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate accounting coursework
Reflect the college’s core values and culturally responsive teaching practices
Apply knowledge of the accounting teaching field
Meet professional standards for faculty under college policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in accounting or a Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in discipline/qualifying fields
Teaching experience is desired
Candidates must attach qualifying/conferred transcripts
Candidates must attach all required licenses and certifications, if applicable
Subject to a criminal background check
Dual credit assignments require an additional fingerprinting background check with the Texas Department of Public Safety
Ability to perform duties on-site at a Collin College campus or other designated location
Ability to teach according to approved course descriptions, syllabi, schedules, and college policies
Availability for possible evening and weekend programs
Sedentary work capability with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds and ability to perform required standing, walking, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
