Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, mentor, and coach Salesforce and Oracle CPQ developers, administrators, and analysts
- Foster continuous learning, ownership, and technical excellence
- Champion an AI-first engineering culture and adoption of GenAI tools to improve productivity and delivery quality
- Manage end-to-end platform delivery, customizations, and operational health for Salesforce CRM and Oracle CPQ (BigMachines and Fusion)
- Oversee bi-directional integrations between Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, and enterprise systems including Oracle EBS/Fusion, Agile PLM, PDH, CLM, and Subscription & Asset Management platforms
- Partner with GTM and Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable architecture across configuration rules, BML/BMQL scripts, commerce processes, and document engine templates
- Standardize processes across multi-tier approvals, discounting matrices, contract amendments, renewals, and revenue workflows
- Identify and deliver AI/ML use cases including predictive deal guidance, automated quoting workflows, and intelligent approval routing
- Ensure adherence to SOX compliance, audit controls, enterprise security standards, and release governance
- Define and track KPIs such as quoting turnaround time, configuration accuracy, platform adoption, CI/CD deployment frequency, and defect reduction
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6–8+ years of progressive experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or delivery roles focused on Salesforce CRM and Oracle CPQ (BigMachines and Fusion) within Lead-to-Quote / Quote-to-Cash workflows
- 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing engineering/systems teams
- Demonstrated experience or active practice utilizing AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and team efficiency, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, AI test automation, Jira/ADO AI skills, or platform-native AI capabilities
- Solid hands-on understanding of Oracle CPQ architecture, including BML, BMQL, Commerce Processes, Configuration Rules, and Document Engine
- Deep integration knowledge with Salesforce CRM objects, APIs, and data models
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to bridge technical concepts with executive GTM business leaders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience
- Preferred: Oracle CPQ Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist and/or Salesforce Administrator / Developer certifications
- Preferred: Experience leading digital transformation initiatives in hybrid hardware, software, and SaaS subscription-based business models
- Preferred: Experience implementing modern DevOps/CI/CD practices for Oracle CPQ migration packages and Salesforce deployment pipelines
