About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, edit, and/or maintain technical documents supporting full enterprise IT management
- Write and edit technical documentation for project hardware and software, including installation, configuration, how-to, and transition documentation
- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation
- Advise on crafting and refining ideas, cultivating sources, and developing complex articles
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to deliver appropriate, complex content
- Identify and modify contextual errors
- Reorganize content and edit graphics, tables, and illustrations
- Produce implementation guides and end-user guides
- Provide data definition and data flow documentation
- Format technical publications
- Support the Army TEN-M program
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 5-10 years of related experience
- Job qualifications include Content Editing, Engineering Graphics, and User Documentation
- Active Secret Clearance desired
- Clearance: must be able to obtain Interim Secret
- Location: Remote within the US
- 10%-25% travel required
- No US citizenship requirement
- Ability to work 40 scheduled hours per week
