About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Service multiple customer locations along assigned routes in Lenexa, Shawnee, and Mission
- Receive and stock purchased products at designated customer locations
- Maintain product stocking levels by scanning inventory for replenishment orders
- Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty
- Follow routes defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time
- Comply with facility safety and inspection requirements
- Engage customers to identify additional product needs and help create new orders
- Probe for customer needs during each site visit
- Work with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings
- Support assigned customers by managing inventory and driving account growth through the KeepStock program
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years' experience in a selling or service environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs and/or work in difficult positions
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle different technical and operational issues
- Valid driver's license in state of residence
- Required levels of automobile insurance
