Key responsibilities & impact- Own assigned Litera implementations from initiation and planning through execution, go-live, and transition to support
- Define scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria
- Run multiple concurrent projects across the Litera product portfolio
- Own project plans, forecasts, financials, effort, burn, margin, budgets, and change control
- Maintain risk, issue, assumption, and dependency logs and drive issues to closure
- Coordinate Professional Services, Product, Engineering, Support, Customer Success, Sales, client teams, IT, and third-party partners
- Run governance forums, steering updates, and status reporting
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and documented client requirements
- Coordinate testing and training activities and confirm client readiness for go-live
- Maintain plans, RAID logs, status reports, resource forecasts, and time and cost records in PSA and project tooling
- Support statements of work, professional services quotations, resource plans, and partner coordination
- Identify scope creep and additional service opportunities
- Capture lessons learned and customer feedback to improve delivery methodology, estimation models, and tooling
- Informally mentor less experienced project managers and consultants through example and coaching
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7 years of project management experience delivering software or technology implementations, including multi-workstream engagements for external clients
- Proven track record of owning multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines and shared resources as the single accountable project owner
- Vendor-side professional services or SaaS delivery experience
- Legal technology, law firm, or corporate legal department exposure is a strong advantage
- Experience managing scope, budget, forecasting, resource planning, and change control, including reporting on effort, burn, and margin
- Working knowledge of agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches
- Exceptional written and verbal communication with partner- and executive-level stakeholders
- Proactive risk identification, option framing, and resolution-driving approach
- Hands-on experience with project and PSA tooling such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, Monday.com, or similar
- Confident use of reporting and time-tracking systems
- Experience coordinating globally distributed teams and third-party partners across multiple time zones
- Self-starting and comfortable with ambiguity, able to pick up a live portfolio quickly
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus but not required
