Key responsibilities & impact- Handle ServiceNow tickets at N1 and N2 levels
- Lead employee technology onboarding and offboarding processes
- Provision and configure Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android laptops and mobile devices
- Manage devices through Microsoft Intune and Apple MDM
- Administer servers and virtual machines, including Windows Server and Linux
- Operate backup routines using Veeam and Azure Backup and perform periodic restore tests
- Monitor the local infrastructure with Zabbix and maintain automation scripts
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Provide first-level response to endpoint cybersecurity incidents
- Support basic logical configuration of the local network
- Plan and implement environment changes (GMUD) and keep technical documentation up to date
- Track IT licenses and assets and manage local vendors
- Provide technical support for corporate events, training sessions, and customer demonstrations
- Act as the local focal point with global teams in Italy, communicating in English
- Identify automation and improvement opportunities, including through artificial intelligence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Intermediate conversational English
- Solid experience with current versions of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
- Experience with Zabbix or an equivalent monitoring tool
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Apple MDM
- Hands-on experience with virtualization and virtual machine administration
- Knowledge of Active Directory and joining machines to a domain
- Operational-level knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Knowledge of ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM tool
- Experience with backups using Veeam Backup and Azure Backup
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and subnetting concepts
- macOS, iOS, and Android support at the end-user level
- Understanding of endpoint cybersecurity, including Microsoft Defender and compliance policies
- Operational knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Operational experience with Linux
- Ability to create automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot for automation, scripting, documentation, and assisted troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of MySQL and SQL Server databases
- Microsoft certifications (MD-102, AZ-104) or equivalent certifications are a plus
