About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct interviews, meetings, and workshops with clients and business teams to understand problems, needs, objectives, and expected outcomes
- Investigate and structure business needs before detailing requirements and defining the solution
- Elicit, analyze, detail, document, validate, and maintain business, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Identify and document business rules, integrations, constraints, assumptions, dependencies, and risks related to requests
- Prepare user stories, use cases, workflows, acceptance criteria, and other artifacts required to understand the requirements
- Support Product Owners and other stakeholders involved in analyzing and prioritizing requirements and requests by providing information on business needs, impacts, and value
- Support scope definition and refinement, assessing the impact of changes to requirements
- Act as the liaison between clients, business teams, Product Owners, technical teams, vendors, and project management, facilitating a shared understanding of requirements and decisions
- Clarify requirements and business rules throughout solution development and support the resolution of questions, inconsistencies, and changes
- Support the user acceptance testing and sign-off of deliverables, verifying compliance with defined requirements and acceptance criteria
- Keep requirements, decisions, and documentation up to date, ensuring traceability throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Engineering, or related fields
- Experience in business and requirements analysis, working with clients, requesting business areas, Product Owners, and technical teams
- Experience conducting interviews, meetings, and workshops to understand problems, needs, objectives, and expected outcomes
- Ability to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience analyzing processes, business rules, impacts, dependencies, assumptions, constraints, and risks related to requests
- Experience developing and validating requirements with different stakeholders
- Experience acting as the liaison between business teams, Product Owners, technical teams, vendors, and project management
- Strong analytical and investigative mindset, with the ability to challenge assumptions, identify inconsistencies, and deepen understanding of the problem before defining the solution
- Knowledge of requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, documentation, validation, and traceability techniques
- Experience modeling and documenting requirements through user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, business rules, and workflows
- Knowledge of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) is desirable and considered a plus
- Knowledge of UML and process modeling techniques is desirable and considered a plus
- Knowledge of Design Thinking and other approaches to problem discovery and understanding is desirable and considered a plus
- Experience with system implementation, acquisition, integration, or development projects is desirable and considered a plus
