About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Surety team with administrative, processing, and documentation activities related to bond execution and account maintenance
- Assist with preparation, processing, and execution of bid, final, and commercial bonds
- Review contracts and bond forms to identify and extract relevant information
- Ensure bond requests and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and timely
- Request, collect, and follow up on underwriting and financial documentation
- Assist with bond renewals, cancellations, close-outs, and premium audits
- Coordinate routine requests with surety carriers under Account Manager direction
- Communicate bond status updates and routine service information to clients, producers, and internal stakeholders
- Act as liaison with surety carriers for routine requests
- Maintain client bond files, financial records, and documentation in internal systems
- Maintain filing systems and ensure records comply with company standards
- Prepare routine correspondence and documentation
- Receive and distribute correspondence promptly
- Provide day-to-day administrative and service support
- Assist Account Managers and Account Executives with servicing activities
- Support team initiatives, training activities, and special projects
- Continue developing surety knowledge, systems proficiency, and client service skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous insurance experience is not required; transferable skills from customer service, administration, operations, or other professional environments are valued
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service mindset and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain required insurance license(s)
- Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership
