About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor paint preparation, analyzing homogenization and controlling and adjusting quality
- Monitor the production process at automotive assembly plants, controlling color shades and making adjustments and adding additives as necessary
- Coordinate shift activities, assigning work and supporting the team to meet customer demands
- Perform system-related activities in Axalta’s system, reviewing specifications and analyzing paint standards
- Support production operators by providing guidance on the proper use of materials
- Stay up to date on operating and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with standards
- Request product analysis for deviations, monitor results, and guide corrective actions together with customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical degree in Chemistry with an active CRQ registration
- Experience in paint lines is preferred
