About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support various outside sales activities and customer relationship management for Automated Logic
- Establish business relationships to enhance outside sales performance
- Generate service contract renewals and support recurring revenue streams
- Identify opportunities for remote monitoring, analytics platforms, and system upgrades
- Educate clients on new products and services within the automation portfolio
- Assist in onboarding new customers or transitioning from installation to service agreements
- Track service contracts, warranties, and maintenance schedules
- Report on service sales pipeline and forecast revenue
- Develop and pursue new sales opportunities through provided leads
- Expand sales in existing accounts
- Collaborate with engineering and field technician teams to understand service requirements and relay customer needs
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Coordinate with project managers to meet customer expectations
- Transition to a field-based role after training
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of experience with HVAC Controls, Building Automation, Commercial HVAC, Blueprint Drawings, or the Construction industry
- Valid Driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred)
- Building automation, HVAC controls, construction, electrical, or plumbing sales experience (preferred)
- Technical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings and communicate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
