About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the maintenance shop meets the needs of IBC Management
- Repair specific mechanical failures as needed
- Ensure scheduled repairs are completed and adjust schedules to meet emergencies
- Train mechanics on equipment specifics
- Manage facility housekeeping to required standards
- Perform other duties as directed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in general maintenance
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and follow direction
- Industrial and Commercial work experience is a plus
- Exposure to various skilled trades, including mechanical and electrical
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, using steam through associated piping to maintain product temperatures according to manufacturer specifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Attendance at a vocational technical institution studying various skilled trades or work experience in a construction environment
- Electrical background preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of pump and industrial equipment rebuilding and repair
- Professional oral and written interpersonal communication
- 3–5 years of mechanical experience
