Key responsibilities & impact- Administer operational activities related to PA project orders.
- Monitor delivery milestones and align planning, execution, and customer commitments.
- Support Project Managers in tracking scope, schedule, and financial performance.
- Identify risks or variances in costs, billing, and timelines, and propose corrective actions.
- Organize and maintain project documentation in accordance with PMO standards.
- Manage financial controls, including the baseline budget, costs, variances, and margin.
- Perform activities in the Oracle ERP system, including project setup, billing, and closeout.
- Monitor cash flow and financial commitment reports.
- Ensure billing accuracy and timeliness.
- Support data analysis and financial reporting.
- Create and maintain schedules using tools such as MS Project.
- Track delivery deadlines and coordinate alignment meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor progress against critical milestones and report variances.
- Work with Document Control to ensure documentation delivery dates are met.
- Maintain structures and information in project management software, including Clarity.
- Perform WBS setup, resource allocation, and closeout processes.
- Maintain organized repositories in SharePoint, DocPro, or MS Teams.
- Apply project controls best practices and lessons learned.
- Support the development and improvement of project controls processes and procedures.
- Contribute to S&OP activities, when applicable.
- Share knowledge and support internal training.
- Promote the use of Emerson corporate policies within the PMO project environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience in project administration or support, project controls, or order coordination.
- Knowledge of cost control, billing, and basic scheduling concepts.
- Experience with ERP systems and project management tools.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Knowledge of Office 365.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Work location: Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brazil.
- Spanish is a preferred qualification.
- Experience with Clarity software is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent tools is preferred.
- Experience in a PMO or engineering/project-based company is preferred.
- Familiarity with S&OP processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of Oracle systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of CRM Cloud is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
