About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in Agile ceremonies and review documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives and clarify system needs and impacts
- Interpret high-level designs to support technical user stories and delivery estimates
- Use AI-enabled tools for requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and solution design
- Break down designs into technical user stories and documentation with defined success criteria
- Organize and coordinate user stories and engineering tasks for incremental delivery
- Collaborate with product partners, analysts, engineers, architects, and other team members
- Create and maintain user stories, test results, approvals, and other implementation artifacts
- Prioritize work across multiple concurrent deliverables
- Perform functional testing, identify defects, and complete retesting
- Analyze system defects and identify root causes
- Improve system effectiveness and refine Agile processes
- Build and maintain an organized repository of system documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Software Engineer
- Detail-oriented approach with strong technical, analytical, conceptual, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively and balance business direction and requirements with development cost and risk
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to self-manage and coordinate delivery schedules across multiple parallel initiatives
- Interest in mentoring others in analysis, collaboration, and organization
- Interest in tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience using AI-assisted analysis techniques for research, requirements discovery, and documentation
- Ability to learn new business processes, technologies, and tools quickly
- Analytical and decision-making skills to develop options and resolve problems
- Experience working within an Agile framework
