About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and support the Accounting Operations team to achieve goals and meet deadlines
- Supervise accounting supervisors and specialists, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Handle general ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting
- Manage fixed asset accounting and inventory coordination
- Resolve inter-group reconciliation items and prepare reports
- Ensure bank statements are uploaded and variances are resolved
- Execute period-end closing activities as scheduled
- Submit required and ad hoc reports within deadlines
- Implement process improvements, automation, and LEAN initiatives
- Develop and coach team members for future roles within Nestlé
- Ensure compliance with audit guidelines and business continuity plans
- Collaborate with market CFOs, auditors, and shared services teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of experience in accounting operations and shared services
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or specialist accounting role
- Experience leading teams and managing projects in accounting operations
- Strong financial reporting and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of best practices in Record to Report (R2R) processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
- Service-oriented and committed to delivering excellent results
- Able to energize and engage teams
- Strong project management and coaching abilities
- Influences with integrity and builds trust with customers and colleagues
