Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and improve daily operations across Western Australian and Victorian distribution centres
- Manage local and international purchasing, supplier relationships, order schedules and delivery commitments
- Oversee inventory levels, stock forecasting, warehouse transfers and slow-moving or critical stock
- Coordinate domestic and international freight, monitor shipments and improve delivery performance while reducing costs
- Ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time
- Provide remote oversight and guidance to warehouse teams
- Improve receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch processes
- Coordinate facilities maintenance, service providers, safety procedures and operational requirements
- Conduct structured site reviews during Australian visits
- Manage and optimise JCurve ERP and warehouse management systems
- Improve workflows, reporting, data accuracy and operational procedures
- Identify automation, efficiency, cost-saving and overhead-reduction opportunities
- Support product research, development and new product launches
- Manage product testing, certification and compliance requirements for products supplied to the Australian market
- Maintain product testing, certification, standards, expiry and compliance records
- Coordinate testing, renewals and documentation with manufacturers, suppliers, laboratories and certification bodies
- Verify product documentation and escalate compliance gaps or risks
- Coordinate lighting-product electrical, photometric, performance and environmental testing, including NATA-accredited testing where required
- Work with the Managing Director and Australian teams to resolve operational issues
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight providers, manufacturers, testing laboratories and stakeholders
- Identify risks, follow actions through to completion and report operational performance
- Prepare weekly Operations Reports covering purchasing, stock in transit, cash requirements, inventory, dispatch, delays, compliance and outstanding actions
- Submit structured reports after Australian site visits
- Place monthly imported product and overseas supplier orders within the first seven calendar days
- Complete monthly warehouse stock transfers within the first seven calendar days
- Maintain inventory control, timely dispatch, issue resolution, cost savings, compliance records and risk escalation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Filipino candidate based in the Philippines
- Experience in operations management, supply chain management or a similar role with broad operational responsibility
- Practical experience in procurement, supplier management, inventory control, logistics and warehouse operations
- Experience overseeing distribution centres, multi-site operations or warehouse teams
- Strong process improvement, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and written and verbal English communication
- Confidence using business systems, monitoring performance and preparing operational reports
- Ability to work independently, coordinate competing priorities and communicate effectively with Australian management
- Willingness and ability to travel to Australia approximately every 12 weeks for at least two weeks per visit
- Availability during agreed AEST or PHT business hours
- Disclosure of any existing ongoing roles or client engagements
- LinkedIn profile reflecting the engagement as Independent Contractor
- Experience with JCurve ERP and warehouse management systems is highly desirable
- International procurement, importing and overseas supplier coordination experience is highly desirable
- Australian wholesale, distribution or warehousing operations experience is highly desirable
- Product testing, certification and Australian/New Zealand Standards compliance experience is highly desirable
- Lighting, electrical or other technical products experience, including NATA-related testing requirements, is highly desirable
- New product development, freight optimisation, OHSE and operational cost reduction experience is highly desirable
