About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure employee safety, product quality, and asset performance while delivering the shift production plan on time
- Deploy the people development plan and ensure team competencies through training
- Enforce compliance with SOPs for all shift personnel
- Coach employees through the NCE approach
- Maintain clean, operational work areas and installations according to GMP
- Enforce personnel hygiene and safety requirements, including protective clothing, shoe changes, and hand washing
- Support continuous improvement and employee involvement through the NCE approach
- Provide feedback and coaching to individuals and teams
- Ensure succession planning and development of direct reports
- Distribute skills adequately to achieve the production plan
- Ensure timely launch of new products to the market
- Coordinate adequate installation maintenance with quality, engineering, and administration teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent
- 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, food, or FMCG industries
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Knowledge of equipment, safety procedures, and hygiene requirements
