Key responsibilities & impact- Define and maintain the ServiceNow platform architecture roadmap.
- Establish development standards, governance, and best practices.
- Lead solution architecture reviews and technical design sessions.
- Ensure platform scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Design, develop, configure, and support complex ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop custom applications, integrations, workflows, business rules, and catalog items.
- Configure Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, Employee Center, and Workspaces.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce quality standards.
- Implement HAM and SAM solutions, including discovery, normalization, reconciliation, compliance, software optimization, vendor audits, and asset lifecycle management.
- Implement SPM demand, project, portfolio, resource, agile, and financial management capabilities.
- Create executive dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Architect ITSM Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, and Service Catalog capabilities in alignment with ITIL best practices.
- Implement HRSD case management, employee lifecycle events, and self-service experiences while ensuring privacy and security compliance.
- Mentor developers and administrators.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of ServiceNow platform development experience.
- 5+ years of ServiceNow solution architecture experience.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Proven delivery of enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong expertise in HAM, SAM, SPM, ITSM, HRSD, CMDB, Discovery, and CSDM.
- Advanced experience with JavaScript and core ServiceNow development tooling, including Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
- Experience managing stakeholders and communicating technical solutions to business or executive audiences.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.
- CIS-ITSM, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM, CIS-SPM, or CIS-HRSD certification preferred.
- ITIL 4 or ITIL 5 certification preferred.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
