Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and guide deployment, administration, development, and integration of the ServiceNow suite on RHEL and Windows
- Coordinate with database developers on database requirements
- Lead Agile, Scrum, and SDLC project delivery and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Technical Leads on progress, risks, and technical challenges
- Direct integration with Cisco Network Services Orchestrator, COTS, and enterprise tools
- Oversee technical documentation and user handoff training
- Monitor system and application performance and availability
- Lead system hardening, security, and RMF authorization and accreditation efforts
- Guide ServiceNow automation and orchestration using Ansible, Python, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Manage troubleshooting, diagnosis, resolution, and root cause analysis of complex issues
- Direct system performance analysis and tuning
- Lead engineering projects and technical processes through the SDLC
- Oversee delivery of deployable solution packages for production transition with minimal manual intervention
- Perform additional duties supporting evolving business and technical requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 16 years of experience through a combination of work history and education: doctorate + 8 years, master’s + 10 years, bachelor’s + 12 years, associate’s + 14 years, or high school + 16 years
- TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 certification requirements, including CompTIA Security+
- At least 5 years of relevant ServiceNow experience
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
- At least one other advanced ServiceNow certification
- Experience developing and scripting within ServiceNow using JavaScript
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using Java, Python, Perl, or PowerShell
- Team leadership experience
- Advanced system architecture, design, and integration experience
- Experience across concept, design, engineering, production, and sustainment phases of the ServiceNow SDLC
- Experience with at least one of Agile, Scrum, or SDLC
- Experience automating ServiceNow implementation and configuration for large-scale enterprise deployments and configuration management
- Hands-on experience developing, evaluating, assessing, and refining automated testing, validation, and verification methods
- Strong foundational understanding of RDBMS (MySQL/MariaDB/RaptorDB) and SQL
- Cross-platform and integration experience with Windows, Linux, Juniper, and Cisco
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Skilled in working within a professional office team environment
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent network background desired
- ISC2 CISSP or equivalent strongly preferred
