About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical discovery and solution design from the first call through close and implementation handover
- Partner with Client Expansion Managers to scope and close expansion opportunities
- Build and deliver live demonstrations tailored to each institution’s use cases, call drivers, and banking stack
- Own technical vendor evaluations, including RFPs, security questionnaires, vendor due diligence, and third-party risk reviews
- Scope integrations with telephony, contact center platforms, core banking, digital banking, and authentication systems
- Set realistic delivery expectations with Professional Services leadership
- Design and run proofs of concept demonstrating measurable business impact
- Explain the Posh platform to executives, contact center leaders, IT teams, and security teams
- Partner with Product and Implementation teams to communicate prospect requirements and hand off accounts at close
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing solutions engineering, sales engineering, or solutions architecture role
- Background selling to or working with credit unions or banks
- Familiarity with the financial institution technology and vendor ecosystem
- Proven track record of partnering with Account Executives to win technical evaluations on complex, high-value deals
- Hands-on technical ability
- Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven integrations
- Understanding of authentication, payloads, retries, and debugging
- Strong demo-building and presentation skills
- Ability to tailor demo flows to specific buyer personas
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes
- Experience operating in highly regulated spaces and owning security reviews and compliance-heavy evaluations
- Growth mindset; resourceful, coachable, and highly driven to win
- Based in the Boston, MA area and open to a hybrid work model
- Authorization to work in the United States
