About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage consulting engagements and workstreams for Visa clients
- Translate agreed scope and client objectives into practical workplans with milestones, responsibilities, and deliverables
- Build storylines connecting findings to recommendations, implementation considerations, and expected client outcomes
- Lead day-to-day project execution, team coordination, client working sessions, issue resolution, and progress reporting
- Develop analytical frameworks and guide use of Visa, client, and industry data
- Manipulate and analyze large datasets to generate insights and recommendations
- Review analyses and presentations for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness
- Partner with marketing, sales, risk, innovation, new flows, and global regional teams
- Coach, develop, and mentor project team members and support staffing across projects
- Capture methods, examples, and lessons learned as reusable practice tools
- Use approved AI-enabled and agentified workflows to improve delivery efficiency
- Build scalable solutions, toolkits, best-practice documents, and consulting approaches
- Maintain alignment with Client Leads on objectives, key messages, stakeholder expectations, and delivery changes
- Surface delivery risks and emerging client needs
- Support engagement scoping with input on methodology, effort, timing, and feasibility
- Identify emerging client needs and opportunities for additional consulting engagements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Preferred: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree, or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree, or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Relevant experience at a large management consulting firm or US Financial Institution
- Strong analytical/quantitative background
- Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance, with significant focus on impacting ROI
- Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products and services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives, and card issuing experience
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Technology mindset; curiosity and awareness of digital trends and applications
- Ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
- Travel 5–10% of the time
