About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the development and ongoing management of Technology strategy
- Lead the annual strategy cycle with the Head of Technology and Technology Leadership Team
- Define strategic priorities, objectives, success measures, and aligned investment, workforce, and vendor plans
- Lead the Technology executive operating rhythm, including weekly Technology Leadership Team meetings
- Prepare executive pre-reads, leadership notes, decision and action tracking, and communications
- Own the monthly CIO business review process across Technology CIO organizations
- Lead Technology contributions to CEO-level business reviews
- Translate strategy into measurable execution and monitor priorities, metrics, interdependencies, risks, and trade-offs
- Modernize executive reporting through digital, data-driven business reviews and dashboards
- Accelerate generative AI and automation adoption, including Microsoft Copilot, across executive routines and Technology Business Services teams
- Advise the Head of Technology, Technology Leadership Team members, and CIO chiefs of staff
- Provide reporting and presentations to senior leadership, executive committees, and regulatory bodies
- Lead and develop the Technology Business Services team
- Ensure risk, control, governance, data governance, and confidential-information handling discipline
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of Technology Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Seasoned senior leadership experience in strategy, chief of staff, or business management functions for a senior executive within a large, complex organization
- Experience developing and managing multi-year enterprise or technology strategies
- Experience leading executive operating routines, business reviews, operating reviews, and executive or committee preparation
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Exceptional written and verbal executive communication skills
- Ability to influence, negotiate, build trusted relationships, navigate ambiguity and complexity, and deliver high-stakes initiatives under tight timelines
- Hands-on experience with generative AI and automation, including Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform
- Technology and/or financial services experience, including knowledge of technology business management, program delivery, financial management, workforce planning, and vendor management
- Proven people leadership experience leading, developing, and coaching managers and senior individual contributors
