About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and stabilize the organization’s top five priority Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Turn around accounts receivable quickly by identifying and reporting red flags, implementing corrective actions, and resolving issues with urgency and accuracy
- Provide on-site and remote support to Business Office Managers and staff
- Provide on-site training and coaching to business office managers and staff across multi-state SNFs
- Lead and support collections, Medicaid pending resolution, PCC data entry for Medicare/insurance billing, accounts receivable management, and revenue cycle optimization
- Develop action plans, monitor progress, and ensure accountability as a change agent
- Deliver training that enables staff to sustain improvements independently
- Act as a stabilizer during leadership transitions or operational challenges
- Communicate results and process improvements to senior leadership through clear reporting
- Travel extensively across regions to support facilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience in SNF business office operations across multiple states
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid (including pending), Managed Care, and third-party payer processes
- Proven ability to quickly analyze and resolve financial and operational challenges
- Demonstrated success in training, mentoring, and developing business office teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively report progress and outcomes to senior leadership
- Highly adaptable self-starter with strong organizational skills and willingness to travel
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Residency in Missouri, Illinois, or Kansas required
- Ability to travel up to 80–90% to SNF communities in Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas
