Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own strategy, delivery, governance, and operations for Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity services
  • Define and execute the Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity roadmap
  • Drive adoption of modern collaboration patterns and productivity best practices
  • Evaluate new Microsoft 365 features and services for business value and usability
  • Own operational health, availability, and performance of collaboration workloads
  • Lead configuration, lifecycle management, and service optimization for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive
  • Oversee tenant-level configuration for usability, sharing models, and collaboration standards
  • Establish governance for Teams creation and lifecycle, SharePoint site provisioning and ownership, content organization, and collaboration standards
  • Champion user experience improvements and simplification of collaboration tools
  • Lead Microsoft 365 adoption initiatives and change management
  • Partner with Communications, HR, and Business Units to drive usage and value
  • Ensure end-user training materials, guidance, and self-service resources are available and current
  • Partner with Identity, Security, Compliance, and Endpoint/Intune teams
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for Microsoft 365 collaboration platform issues
  • Lead Microsoft 365 engineering, administration, and support teams
  • Manage Microsoft support engagements and third-party vendors
  • Provide executive-level reporting on service health, adoption, and roadmap progress
  • Own Microsoft 365 collaboration licensing strategy and cost optimization
  • Forecast demand, manage productivity-services budgets, and drive license efficiency and usage transparency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of IT experience
  • 5+ years leading enterprise Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience working with GCC High
  • Knowledge of federal regulations
  • Deep expertise in Exchange Online
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Teams
  • Deep expertise in SharePoint Online and OneDrive
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 Apps
  • Proven experience operating large-scale collaboration platforms
  • Strong background in SaaS operations
  • Strong background in platform governance
  • Strong background in user adoption and change management
  • Experience leading technical teams and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requirements include U.S. Citizenship
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements
  • Microsoft 365 or collaboration-focused certifications valued
  • Experience supporting hybrid or remote workforces valued
  • Experience with tenant consolidation or large-scale M365 migrations valued
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT service management (ITSM) practices valued
