About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop Pet Specialty Retailing trade marketing activities across in-store, online, and event channels in the Central East Europe cluster
- Drive strategic planning and implementation of trade marketing initiatives to support business growth and strengthen recommendations
- Measure and analyse trade marketing plans and activities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Drive category recommendation and growth through Joint Business Planning with customers and partners
- Provide distinctive trade marketing assets and solutions to Sales representatives based on competitor analysis, market trends, and portfolio priorities
- Lead and coordinate agencies, suppliers, cross-functional teams, and the global content factory
- Manage trade marketing budgets and planning processes
- Own Royal Canin participation and brand image at major activations and events
- Support implementation of smaller events managed by team members
- Lead, develop, and engage the Cluster Trade Marketing team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Customer orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt communication to different audiences
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to engage customers, collaborate effectively as a team player, and lead projects
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Additional languages considered an asset
- Ability to work on an 18-month fixed-term contract
