About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build datasets for supervised and unsupervised models, applying statistical knowledge, business concepts, and computational tools to support the development of analytical solutions
- Build, update, recommend, and validate adjustments to pricing monitors and other reports related to product pricing
- Program and analyze adjustments to prices, underwriting rules, pre-inspection requirements, tracker requirements, commercial campaigns, and broker groups
- Lead the rate update process by performing comparative calculations between versions, validating scenarios, and producing impact analyses to support management approval
- Develop, update, and draw insights from comparative market studies, such as peer performance and deductible comparisons
- Implement adjustments in the Source Manager (Blaze), validating sources, data, and information integrity
- Evaluate the implementation of BI and Analytics tools applied to large data volumes and automated processes
- Maintain Blaze, the calculation engine, adapting code to the rules, rates, and guidelines for Commercial (法人 / PJ) products
- Validate adjustments through testing with data sets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Knowledge of rule engines, system parameterization, or decision platforms (e.g., Blaze Advisor)
- Experience with insurance pricing, particularly Life insurance
- Knowledge of SAS, Emblem, Radar, Earnix, and/or Databricks
