About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high-impact consulting projects for Visa’s Community FI clients in North America
- Own project delivery plans and translate client objectives into workplans with milestones, responsibilities, and deliverables
- Build storylines linking findings to recommendations, implementation considerations, and expected client outcomes
- Lead day-to-day project execution, including team coordination, client working sessions, issue resolution, and progress reporting
- Develop analytical frameworks and guide the use of Visa, client, and industry data
- Manipulate and analyze large datasets to produce insights and client recommendations
- Review analyses and presentations for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness
- Partner with marketing, sales, risk, innovation, new flows, and global regional teams
- Coach, develop, and mentor consultants; typically manage 3–6 direct reports
- Support staffing, capture reusable methods and lessons learned, and improve delivery workflows
- Use approved AI-enabled and agentified workflows while maintaining analytical rigor and review
- Build scalable solutions, toolkits, best-practice documents, and consulting approaches
- Align with the Client Lead on objectives, messages, stakeholder expectations, and delivery changes
- Surface delivery risks and emerging client needs and support engagement scoping
- Travel 5–10% of the time
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree, or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Preferred: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree, or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree, or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Relevant experience at a large management consulting firm or US Financial Institution
- Strong analytical/quantitative background
- Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance and significant focus on impacting ROI
- Ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
- Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products and services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives, and card issuing experience
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Technology mindset; curiosity and up-to-date knowledge of digital trends and applications
- Willingness to travel 5–10% of the time
