Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Supply Planning process for assigned US sites
- Develop and maintain an 18-month rolling supply, inventory, and backlog plan
- Facilitate communication between demand and supply planning
- Represent Supply Planning in site-level SIOP processes
- Develop, document, update, and challenge supply-plan assumptions
- Identify future constraints on labor, materials, machines, and other critical resources
- Analyze demand and supply gaps and propose mitigation alternatives
- Manage planning performance, analyze discrepancies, and implement countermeasures
- Report sensitivities, vulnerabilities, and opportunities related to relevant KPIs
- Ensure consistency with XPS Supply Planning standards
- Build inventory outlooks and drive actions to meet budget targets
- Support product phase-in and phase-out activities
- Upload supply plans to the ERP system and maintain planning parameters
- Provide expert support for supply planning and SIOP process improvements
- Support Production and SIOP with supply-related topics
- Lead, support, and develop the local team of direct reports
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Production/Operations, Procurement, Finance, Product Managers, Quality, and SIOP Excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience or skills sufficient to develop and maintain an 18-month rolling supply plan
- Ability to identify and analyze supply constraints, including machine capacity, labor, external suppliers, and contracted manufacturers
- Ability to analyze impacts on operational KPIs and financial performance
- Supply planning and SIOP expertise
- Inventory management knowledge
- Analytical skills and ability to leverage data
- Project planning and execution skills
- Ability to manage and improve supply planning tools and data
- Ability to upload supply plans to an ERP system and maintain supply planning parameters
