About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage purchasing, order maintenance, and delivery timelines to ensure accurate and efficient order progression
- Deliver customer service through timely, professional communication with customers and internal partners via phone and email
- Proactively communicate order status and provide updates
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and timely processing of all orders
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to service and operational efficiency
- Support Ferguson Home showroom customers from purchase through delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Results oriented with a strong customer service mindset
- High attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, manage multiple tasks, and effectively prioritize work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and inclusive environment
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus
- Must work remotely within the United States or hybrid in Newport News, Virginia, in accordance with company policy
