Key responsibilities & impact- Structure, document, and improve OTC and P2P processes, ensuring efficiency, standardization, traceability, and internal controls
- Ensure approval workflows, operating policies, SLAs, and control mechanisms to mitigate risks and reduce rework
- Identify automation and continuous improvement opportunities, reducing manual activities and increasing productivity
- Monitor metrics such as DSO, DPO, delinquency, receivables aging, on-time payment performance, and SLA compliance
- Ensure the quality and reliability of financial information, supporting month-end close and audits
- Govern the billing cycle, from validating commercial terms through invoice issuance and receipt reconciliation
- Improve the interface between Commercial, Sales Operations, and Finance
- Monitor customers’ billing calendars and specific requirements
- Structure and manage the collections strategy, including contact cadence, portfolio prioritization, negotiations, and automation
- Track receivables, anticipate delinquency risks, and propose actions to optimize working capital
- Ensure receipt reconciliation and the integrity of accounts receivable balances
- Govern the payment cycle, from request and approval through financial settlement
- Control the validation of invoices, contracts, purchase orders, payment terms, and approval authority levels
- Coordinate financial scheduling and payment cycles
- Monitor due dates, outstanding items, and discrepancies, preventing improper, duplicate, or non-compliant payments
- Support vendor management and improve contracting and payment processes
- Ensure bank reconciliation and integration of financial transactions with Controllership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and collections
- Experience improving, structuring, or standardizing financial processes, with a focus on operational efficiency and internal controls
- Ability to analyze metrics, identify issues, and propose solutions to improve financial performance
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation, tax documents, and financial controls
- Experience with ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with different teams and partners
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with TOTVS Protheus
- Participation in continuous improvement, automation, or financial process transformation projects
- Experience with collections and receivables management platforms
- Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or automation tools
- Experience in technology companies, SaaS, or fast-growing businesses
