Key responsibilities & impact- Enable delivery of the Joint Fires Network (JFN) Program
- Drive Agile process implementation, requirements traceability, and project management tooling optimization
- Translate mission requirements into structured, executable technical specifications
- Provide expert guidance on Agile best practices and release management workflows
- Administer and provide technical expertise for Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Jira Advanced Roadmaps across secure government networks
- Configure and maintain workflows, roadmaps, and automation schemes
- Keep the JFN development lifecycle visible, organized, and on schedule
- Collaborate with JFN leadership, department managers, operational leaders, and technical development teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years or more experience; Master's degree and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience
- U.S. citizenship
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs, military software factories, or tactical C4ISR / C2 network programs
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Jira and Confluence administrator
- Demonstrated proficiency in Jira Advanced Roadmaps
- Demonstrated experience in Agile Release Management, including planning, coordinating, and managing release schedules and deployment activities
- Demonstrated experience applying Agile software practices and supporting the secure software development lifecycle (SecDevOps/SDLC)
- Demonstrated experience leading teams handling customer feedback requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and developing capability, tool, or system documentation
- Proven expertise designing complex, conditional Jira workflows, automations, and scheme configurations to support requirement traceability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- In-depth understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe) for Government
- Ability to proactively identify bottlenecks and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Analytical mindset focused on metrics-driven continuous improvement in complex, mission-critical environments
- Preferred certifications include Atlassian Certified Professional, CSPO, CSM, SAFe POPM, or CompTIA Security+; these are a plus
