Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a global team supporting Treasury Investment Portfolio, Liability Management, Repo and Reverse Repo Operations
- Provide end-to-end trade lifecycle support, including confirmations, collateral management, income processing, cash and securities settlements, reconciliations and exception management
- Liaise with Front Office, Treasury, Compliance, Finance, Claims, Technology, Risk and other stakeholders
- Provide trade support for Global Treasury Asset Management and Liability Management teams
- Drive transformation initiatives such as ISO 20022, T+1 Settlement and platform modernization
- Establish and oversee risk, control, compliance and operational resilience frameworks
- Own KPI, KRI and operational performance reporting
- Identify control gaps, document and evidence controls, and ensure satisfactory audit closures
- Oversee exception management, reconciliations, valuation controls and root-cause remediation
- Lead collateral management, funding operations, cash processing, securities settlements and liquidity support
- Partner with Technology on automated, scalable and STP-driven workflow solutions
- Oversee daily BAU operations, SOP reviews, checklist sign-off, automation initiatives and implementation stabilization
- Lead, mentor and develop the team through coaching, succession planning, knowledge management and capability building
- Drive process optimization, procedural governance and operational best practices
- Manage executive stakeholder relationships and provide strategic operational insights
- Communicate developments, service issues, plans and business opportunities to senior management and business partners
- Develop and monitor individual development plans and support a high-performing employee culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 13+ years of audit, strategy, product management, operations, risk or control experience
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience
- Finance or Treasury experience
- Front-to-back knowledge of Treasury product-related confirmation, settlement, systems, markets and instruments
- Hands-on experience managing FICC, NSCC, Repo, reverse repo, DTC and FED settlements
- Working knowledge of settlement/payment departments and the payment lifecycle
- Familiarity with Markitwire, Summit, In-trader, MCH, Hogan, IBS, Bloomberg, FXALL and SWIFT
- Strong risk mitigation, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of risks and controls/control design frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of macros, artificial intelligence and automation tools
- Strong collaboration, communication and leadership skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment
