Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the availability and continuous operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and operating systems
- Proactively monitor and resolve incidents and problems, minimizing downtime and improving the reliability of the environment
- Provide technical support to Level 2 and Level 3 support teams and end-user departments in resolving complex tickets
- Document processes, technical procedures, and implemented changes
- Participate in infrastructure projects, including deployments, migrations, and capacity expansions
- Apply security and compliance best practices, including patching, access controls, and hardening
- Automate operational routines, such as backups, updates, and scripts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Systems Analysis and Development
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Systems Analysis and Development is preferred
- Experience with on-premises and cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS)
- Ability to identify and resolve issues involving servers, networks, and systems
- Experience creating technical documentation, procedures, and recovery plans for infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of virtualization, backup, connectivity, and security projects
- Basic hardware knowledge
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity testing
- Experience providing end-user support
