Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain accurate records of all hardware assets using asset management tools
- Track the lifecycle of hardware assets from acquisition to disposal
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, and IT teams for asset acquisition and deployment
- Perform regular audits and reconciliations of hardware inventory
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including SOX and ISO
- Manage hardware refresh cycles and support end-of-life planning
- Develop and maintain HAM process and procedure documentation
- Generate reports and dashboards for asset utilization, depreciation, and compliance
- Support incident and change management processes with asset-related data
- Collaborate with SAM and CMDB teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-4 years of experience in IT asset management or related field
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and asset lifecycle management
- Experience with asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC, Flexera)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Preferred: ITIL Foundation certification
- Preferred: Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) or similar
- Preferred: Experience with enterprise environments and large-scale asset inventories
