Key responsibilities & impact

Perform admission duties for patients admitted for hospital services
Assign accurate medical record numbers (MRNs)
Complete medical necessity and compliance checks
Provide patient instructions and collect insurance information
Receive and process physician orders

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma/GED required
CRCR Certification (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) required within 6 months of hire; company paid
1+ years of customer service experience
Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation, including AI
Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States
Must be able to work on-site at Bon Secours - Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center in Emporia, VA
