About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support strategic initiatives and revenue targets by assisting with acquisition of new client relationships and expansion and retention of existing relationships
- Participate in client and prospect discussions as a subject matter expert on reporting, performance, analytics, compliance, and risk products
- Conduct product demonstrations during sales presentations
- Meet with clients and prospective clients to discuss and demonstrate product capabilities
- Execute the strategic direction of business function activities
- Carry out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues
- Liaise with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- In-depth functional / industry knowledge
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change
- Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft)
- Leadership and organizational skills to determine business unit goals, resources needed, and assess and develop staff skills
- A college or university degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred
- Related industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is required / preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Northern Trust will not sponsor employment-based U.S. work visas for this opportunity
