About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Consult with clients on strategic direction before project submissions
  • Shape requirements, clarify objectives, and improve project outcomes
  • Maintain an end-to-end understanding of assigned clients, including business model, product usage, technical integrations, configuration considerations, and operational priorities
  • Read code and use development tools to verify logic and provide definitive responses about system behavior
  • Support strategic development, modernization, and special initiatives during solution design
  • Provide high-level sizing guidance and technical consultation
  • Recommend products, services, and solution approaches aligned with client needs
  • Support SOW-based work and longer-term consulting engagements
  • Help internal teams understand client intent, desired outcomes, and business drivers
  • Coordinate across internal and external groups and lead matrix teams on complex projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, etc.; combination of relevant training and/or experience in lieu of degree
  • Typically minimum 8 years relevant experience
  • Experience in client-facing roles and/or the financial industry
  • Technical background
  • Knowledge of the Issuing system and client business strategy
  • Ability to read code in mainframe, distributed, and cloud-based languages
  • Ability to access development tools to verify logic and respond to system behavior queries
  • Ability to provide presentations, orally and in writing
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external audiences
  • Ability to align client needs with internal solutions
  • Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States (or applicable country) without current or future immigration sponsorship
  • For US positions, ability to undergo a drug test if conditionally offered employment
